Peaceful Times

I long for peace and happiness, living life without regrets.

To be kind and be blessed, for these things we can’t forget.

 

An act of kindness goes a long way, with little effort from us each day.

One good deed can quickly become three, and on and on you see……

 

A cheery smile to brighten one’s day, to lift one up along the way.

A hand of hope for the dreary, a strong shoulder for the weary.

 

Life is what we make it, what will you choose this day.

To lend a hand to the needy, or walk on by being greedy.

 

It’s up to you to decide, as for me I will abide.

I will smile and be kind, for I want peaceful times!
