EXTENSIONS

EXTENSIONS

Random encounters teach us a lot and this is one such encounter

What if everyone lives a life through extensions. A person who cant hear or see, probably experiences things through other people treating them as extensions.

There was one time I was going on a city bus and a blind man had got up. He started begging for money from the passengers, chanting "Allah tumhara bhala kare"(May God bless you).

He waited near the door of bus about to get down in the next stoppage but what he does next made me want to write this. He gave all his money to the conductor standing next to him; to count it for him.

It took me a while to comprehend with the decision he made without a hint of hesitation, something which I couldn't easily understand.

Having enough faith, trusting the person to return all the coins.

I think that is how people become extensions of other people. Even though we aren't connected maybe we are all just extensions of each other and without even realising that is what makes us complete. When we lack a certain thing we tend to rely on other's even without wanting to. In a way, we are all just looking for that one moment of satisfaction that rarely ever comes to us or never does.

What we are, is just good liar's.
