Pretty much the result of 8 weeks of my Chinese class. It's probably a little off since I only know about 100 or so characters at the moment and we haven't really done any grammar yet. Comments appreciated :3

When I read this, I was wondering if you were inspired to write this by any Chinese poets or something? I really like guys like Du Fu and Li Po and it sort of reminded me of them. Anyway, I don't know Chinese so I can't really critique that part but the English translation sounds cool =]

It sounds like a chant :) The characters at the top look really pretty, you should totally get more of that canvas and write them on it with the calligraphy pen, then like...paint a water color on it or something of a landscape XD it'd be really pretty. I really loved this though, its hard to explain but I like how like... I like how the beginning two lines are the same as the ending two , only reversed. Makes me think of like, a person standing at the top of a snowy hill in the middle of winter with their hand on a tree trunk or something, you know what I mean? Really cool poem,no pun intended XD
