Slow down, Time
Take a step into the past
You’ve covered so much ground
So many things you have found
But you’re moving too quickly
And I just can’t keep up
I’m falling behind swiftly
Slow down, Time
Don’t let me drown

"Slow down, Time" just popped into my head so I decided to write it down and the rest of the poem pretty much took care of itself. Comments and crit appreciated :3

Very clever piece! I think we all feel this way...probably on a daily basis. Time never stands still for none of us. I loved this piece it was very intriguing. Keep exercising your gift.

Very nicely done. I like the idea of it and how sometimes people may feel as though time is going to quickly for them and they don't feel as though they have enough time. I really enjoyed this peice.
