Catoptrophobia: Fear of mirrors.

What is meant to be a fun house
Is a nightmare in your eyes
You see yourself each way you turn
Warped by cracks in broken glass
You try to run but can’t
You search desperately for comfort
But your reflection just keeps looking back

 

There could be another world
Beyond that looking glass
Another world with another you
Always looking back

Second in my phobia series. :3 With all the vanity you see in people today it's interesting to think there are people out there who are actually afraid of mirrors. Comments and crit appreciated.

That's a really awesome idea. The fact that we always have to face up to ourselves in the long run and deal with the effects of our actions. Awesome follow up! Can't wait for the next one.

This phobia series is a pretty awesome idea! Well, if you get an open minded person thinking, they could imagine that there is a world beyond the mirrors. What if there is? Maybe our technology isn't adequate enough to tell. The world is full of surprises and horrors; some we just haven't discovered yet.
