Ballet Shoes

Ballet Shoes

A Poem by Lexi Nicole
"

The shoes still fit, but they're faded and worn.

"

The shoes still fit
But they’re faded and worn
Weathered by years
Moving over this floor
They’ve seen your first steps
And your first flight
And they’ve seen you through
Every performance night
And you lean on the barre
And tie up the ribbons
And stand tall
This is you
And your faithful ballet shoes

I've been dancing since I was three, so I really like this. Very pretty.
