Burning Ice, Chilling Flames

Burning Ice, Chilling Flames

A Poem by Lexi Nicole
"

All that I want is to touch you again...

"

Burning ice
And chilling flames
Arise in my heart
All that I want
Is to touch you again
To hear your cool voice
To see flames in your eyes
I want to trap all this heat
Between my body and yours

Dark light
And bright shadows
Dance on the walls
When your sun
And my moon
Dance together
On the clouds

Your fiery passion
Melts my icy core
Your taste lingers
On my lips
And I’m longing for more

I really love this! I especially like
"Your fiery passion
Melts my icy core
Your taste lingers
On my lips
And I'm longing for more"
It is amazingly worded! I think this is one of those bittersweet poems. You love it, and you love the ending, but you just want it to keep going. I really like that you always have a certain passion behind every word. It's like you feel an emotion, but you don't let it out until you pick up a pencil and start writing. I really, really love that about your work.

Beautiful in its essence, the longing of fiery passion
to melt the icy core~ Superb Pen!
