Savior

There is no sound but she’s screaming.
There is no pain but she’s bleeding.
There is no light but she’s praying.
There is no one there but she’s reaching.

You hear her screaming.
You feel the pain.
You see the light.
You’re there…

She’s looking for you
But the darkness is too much
She’s drowning in it.

Find her in the shadows
And bring her home.
Take her in your arms
And make her WHOLE.

Swallow your fears.
You could be her savior
If you had the courage to save her.

Swallow your fears.
Open your eyes.
Reach for her hand.

Pull her away from the edge.
She needs you.
Make her see that life’s worth living.
Make her see you care.

Let her lean on you.
Let her cry on your shoulder.
Be her savior. Save her.

Your use of color and bold/underline/italics to emphasize words of the poem are interesting. It isn't used consistently from one stanza to the next, and I haven't decided if I like that, or not. I do, however, like the fact that the word "courage" stands out from all the others, because it's right in the middle, and it's the only one in red.

Again, I love the word play. It gives those specific words emphasize and meaning. I don't know where these great poems are coming from, but keep 'em coming. :D
