The Thing About Warriors

The thing about warriors is that they do hurt.
                When the battle’s over, warriors do cry.

The thing about warriors is that their hearts break.
                At the end of the day, warriors do ache.

The thing about warriors is that sometimes they don’t sleep.
                They toss and they turn and their beds sometimes creak.

The thing about warriors is that they have doubts.
                They worry that one day their legs might give out.

The thing about warriors is that they do love.
                And sometimes they feel they don’t show it enough.

The thing about warriors is they’re all around.
                They walk down the streets and they don’t make a sound.

The thing about warriors is that they are brave.
                Because, even though they hurt
                And they might sometimes cry
                Even though they can’t always sleep through the night
                Even though they have fears and are burdened with doubts
               And their voices sometimes get lost in their mouths
               Warriors pick themselves up and they fight through the day
               And they’re strong and they’re smart and they will have their say

The thing about warriors, I know this is true!
The thing about warriors is that you are one, too.

I like this poem of encouragement and deep truth.
We all have amazing potential, gift and talent. we have to learn to see it, nurture it and share it with the world.
We all need to accumulate our self-confidence and always
ready to express ourselves ( our joy, pain, fears, opinions, love ) without fear.
So long as we try our best to live in comformity with The Heavenly Creator of Heaven and Earth, can nobody stop us or intimidate us
because we are all warriors facing our every day battles.
