Who’s the real virus?A Poem by Courtney HoughThe good I’ve seen from the quarantine
These streets once filled,
And the shops had light. But they’re all empty, And it’s not even night. Is this really the virus? The world can finally breath. So was it really it? Or by products of you and me? We are eating together, We are investing time. It’s not a monster at all, It’s putting us back in line. We’ve forgotten to live, And destroyed so much. We needed this, We’ve been so out of touch. See the dolphins returning, The bulls running free. This is what harmony is, We just needed to see. And when it’s finished. Mother nature’s lesson to us, Enjoy the time, And live like we must. © 2020 Courtney HoughFeatured Review
