Today

Today my heart is breaking, 
and I'm numb to the core.
Seeing more evil in this world, 
all the violence all the gore.
My heart bleeds today,
I swear I feel their pain.
It's been a curse of mine, 
it makes me feel insane.
I would trade places,
with the wounded or those who died.
So it wouldn't seem so unfair,
to the loved ones who've cried. 
Do you ever feel this way?
I long to take the pain away.
Even if it means the death of me,
just so He or She could stay.
I'm feeling the pain of the world today, 
and if only God would allow.
I'd pay the ultimate price, 
to erase what happened now.

Is this on behalf of las vegas? Also i know what you feel. I feel it all the time. Tired with all the undesired violence. And i would give mine as well if it meant to spare so many innocent lives. I feel so much pain. Disgust so ashamed of the way things are or have become.. So your not alone. I also write a lot about peace unity social and political issues. Maybe you will enjoy. I sure did enjoy this.:}
