His words

A voice sang so sweet,
With a tear growing in my eye.
Every time I hear it,
They start to swell and cry.

For it is so beautiful,
My ears are not worthy.
In each sweet word,
Holds a hearts untold story.

I close my eyes softly,
Listen to your heart beat each word.
As they grow pictures in my mind,
The beauty is all I heard.

I see the butterflies,
I see the sun, clouds, and sky.
I see flowers blooming gracefully,
And birds singing as they fly by.

I see your words stop at a wall,
And slowly the start to climb.
Wall surrounding my heart and soul,
Built slowly over time.

Not many have climbed,
But many have built the wall higher.
Not to protect me,
No, they were only a liar.

But words both written and spoken,
Find their way over and into my soul.
Having all my trust and emotions,
Hoping that was your goal.

Oh sweet words I cling to,
They are the cause of happy tears.
So gentle yet powerful,
They broke down a wall of many fears.

As you speak to me,
My heart beat quickens.
I could just close my eyes for hours,
Just to your voice I'd listen.

Nothing is that beautiful,
than those words from your lips.
As they give me goose bumps,
Like the gentle touch of fingertips.

I'd give up everything,
Even my own life.
Just to hear you speak,
For one more night.

Words are often over looked,
Yet yours truly are Heaven.
Forever locked into my heart and mind,
They are my greatest possession.

You may not know,
The power you truly hold.
Or the exact way you make me feel,
The emotions are so uncontrolled.

I sit in silence with you,
For my words do not compare.
To the voice of God's greatest angel,
Who answered a Fallen's prayer.

Just like the sun as he bursts his rays,
Brining forth the glorious light.
You took away shadows of darkness,
Took away the fear of night.

With your words,
And the sweetest voice.
My eyes slowly close as I listen,
As my soul starts to rejoice.
