Dr.visit

A Poem by Courtney Hough

You think me a fool,

I’m terrified to do this "exam."

But the doctor still pushes,

Knowing what was done by a man.

I sit and I’m afraid,

While you tell me I’m wrong.

I don’t need you to tell me,

Please just move this along.

I’m terrified of Doctors now,

Because of what he did.

I don’t want you touching me,

And that is why I hid.

So don’t tell me,

With your professional opinion.

Because I wont be told again

And become a medical minion.

Wonderful piece and it truly points out how mortal we are. We all are afraid because we are afraid to find out time is coming to a bitter end. Terrifying piece but so real. May the Lord bring you good tidings. N.
