A Poem by Courtney Hough

Why wont you touch me?
You don’t hold me through the night.
What’s holding you back?
What haven’t I done right?

You don’t want to love me,
Even If I try.
You just don’t want that lately,
Why?

I know I’m not a model,
And I have imperfections.
But is it to much for me to ask,
For some affection?

You maybe damaged,
From the lies you used to see.
That I’m just not good enough,
And you don’t want me.

I’ve never felt like this,
So sad to come home.
Maybe I should take a hint
And let you be alone.

rejection is at best difficult to bare and the simple plea of asking for affection is touching
you have seen the big picture and place it to paper so well
thanks

Wow. I can imagine an aging women saying this plea. This is the image that came to me. " I know I'm not a model" stanza is so sad. I feel you have a lot in the basement that needs to get out. Please keep it up. N.
