I wrote this a few years back to release frustration about my employers at that time.

I close my eyes to another day

The words wont stop playing in my head

And this world, it feels so small

 

One day I know

it will change.

I'm the only one that keeps it the same.

 

No matter the steps forward I take,

It seems to be only bread
