Those TwoA Poem by A.M
It was something to behold, those two
To anyone involved they saw nothing special But they were, they were amazing No one could see it, no one could comprehend it They were two normal kids, two foolish kids with impossible dreams No one is extraordinary in this life, that's what they all thought Sometimes they fought and snapped and bit and ran and screamed But the days after those days were sweet Like the day after a fierce storm That sweet smell of rain and the way the sun shines so much brighter The days after were just like that, brand new They lived in the dark, those two They lived in secret, not on purpose They were just too busy living in each other's breath to care Living in one another's hair and eyes and essence and soul Those two were small and special and so so wild They were carefree and loud because what is life if you don't celebrate it They needed each other because... how could they not No one knew the truth They only showed glimpses into their own little world Those two, they knew they were unique They saw it in stranger's faces, in the faces of family and friends They saw that they were different, that were something alien Those two, waiting to run away Waiting to be able to live their life in the sun They haven't realized they've already been in the sun, since the first day they met
