A Dream

A Dream

A Poem by Irena

A dream

Like a forest of emotions

Each plucked unwillingly from our minds

Our Hearts

Ourselves

Like a ripe fruit from a branch

A dream

Overflowing with those we remember

And those we have forgotten

Those we left drifting around the edges

Floating in the darkness

An empty space just out of reach

That needs merely the light of a dream

To show us what we’ve been missing

One remembers the dream

Existing in a strange world

A place unknown to man

Until the eyes have closed

But in the end a dream is just

the beginning of normality

And that is what we fear the most.

A dream
Like a forest of emotions
Each plucked unwillingly from our minds ... Quiet impressive lines!!

Dreams are like winds, having no directions to blow but, when they comes along the shades of real world ... they get shattered!! Yeah.. they shuddering with the "colors of memories". Nice imagery!!
