So Many Words

I was really struggling with expressing myself to a person that I really care about and writing this poem made it easier to figure out how to deal with it.

So many words I want to say,

Resting on the tip of my tongue,

Waiting for you,

Yet somehow when I try,

To speak, the words are just jumbled,

My mind is blank,

I know what I want,

But not how to say it,

And I just need,

To let you know,

That I'm trying,

Harder than you might think
