Different Breed

Different Breed

A Poem by hoppy

It takes a different breed, to do what they do
The men and women who wear the red, white, and blue

Met with hate and discontent
Its always about mission accomplishment

Putting their lives on the line
For a cause just and divine

Though away from their loved ones
They always ensure the job is done

Time to go home?... no one knows
Though at home you will be known as Heroes

Of these words take heed
For it takes a different breed

This is so very true, I come from a huge military family, In my family you're not a man unless you enlist and serve. At least that is how the guys were raised, But don't get me wrong there are a couple of women who went and joined as well. Loved your write it's so true.

Damn right it "takes a different breed", men and women who care about their country. Every man and woman who has/does serve is nothing less than a HERO!

THANK YOU!
