this was for school

when we first met

you caught my eye

you talked to me

but i was too shy

soon out of the blue

you forgot me for a while

and though i knew why

i quickly lost my smile

we talked, even flirted 

but you did not love me

and i saw it in your eyes

this was not to be

my heart was broken in two

oh well what could i do
