The last breath I wish to taste

You told me not to let go

I have lost my grip

My soul has faded to night

I stare into your glossy eyes

Lifeless in there sullen beauty

Torn between promises unfulfilled

I refuse to look away

Unwilling to move for fear

Of the future without you
