Human

Human

A Poem by Dano

Hateful, hurtful, ravenous

Most of time we don’t realize

We don’t want to see what kind of animal we’ve become

Some of us embrace it bathe in its touch

Tainted, their soul searches for another

A hunger now surges through them

Something never felt they can’t control

Beautiful they believe is the artwork they create

Remember your loved ones, cry for them

Buried with tears and memories

This terror should be stopped must be thwarted

It’s inhuman to dream of this kind of murder

Lunacy creeps in, slowly casing the place

The fog of war lifts, unto the world we race

To be normal, the standard should be erased

Your unique, there different

We are all crazy it’s our art that defines us

Tribute to Ecres

My friend once asked why can’t you write something that doesn’t make you sad to read, or isnt confusing to read.

When the world inspires me in that way, I will make sure you read it.
