Can You Hear Me

Can You Hear Me

A Poem by Hope Ashing

I'm going crazy,
There's tears down my face
Can you hear me
There's no more trace, of you

So, I yell and scream,
Just to hear a noise,
I long for you,
And I long for your voice

The children are gone,
The walls are so dark
I've been locked up for too long
I don't wanna be alone

As I lay down for the night,
I almost cry myself to sleep
But I must be strong,
'Cuz there's no time to weep

I'm going crazy
There's tears down my face
Can you hear me
There's no more trace, of you

I like this...it has a lot of emotion in it. You are doing very good for your age. Keep up the good work.

Good Job

This is pretty deep for an 11 year-old. It seems as most writers, you write from the mindset of someone else. I love this, keep going and be an inspiration (:
