Four Words

Four Words

A by Kat
"

This is a song I wrote about a guy. Enjoy.

"

It started out a simple little crush

But then some how I started to rush
And now I think he's amazing
I just have to keep dazing

So he asked me those four words yesiree
And so I answered them truthfully
And now he knows
Oh yes he knows

The only thing is it hurts so much
Because I can't call him mine or even touch
And now he knows I like him
What a horrible thought

So I guess I'll keep dreaming to myself
And I'll pretend he's someone else
But he's far from that
It makes me sad

Because he asked me those four words yesiree
And so I answered them truthfully
And now he knows
Oh yes he knows

Sometimes when a girl goes to watch TV
She sees a famous star
And she can't even believe
How amazing he is
Well that's how it is for me

The only thing is it hurts so much
Because I can't call him mine or even touch
And now he knows I like him
What a horrible thought

So I guess I'll keep dreaming to myself
And I'll pretend he's someone else
But he's far from that
It makes me sad

Because he asked me those four words yesiree
And so I answered them truthfully
And now he knows
Oh yes he knows

I guess this is the end so I don't care
I like him a lot
And I'm glad he knows I'm here
And I'm glad I shared

Thank you for your heartfelt expression and genuine admission of the truth; how we understand ourselves sometimes is a conundrum, life being so glorious, etc. Where will your writing take you anywhere? It is glorious the way a person can write, the way novels are written even. It is a mystery each interest and craft on the planet...I look forward to seeing any other writings. So lovely,
