A QUEEN,A HEROINEA Poem by honey
Of a queen I write
A queen so ruggedly flawed She was feisty and eloquent and humane And her kingdom boomed with courage and power and prosperity Her dominance intimidated other women who his behind technology to condemn her For she was as fierce as tiger and as mysterious as a sphinx Of a priceless woman I write Who was judged for her desire to conquer the storms of life Making a lot of sacrifices to please get people and ward off confrontational disasters For though she was like a tiger, she was a dove bringing out the best in everyone that understood her The great Queen was further judged and hated for the irony of her identity Perhaps it was the irony of how she could be both wild and adventurous yet soft and unruffled Men and women, young and old reprobated her and labelled her fake For they were accustomed to the belligerency of their sociality and couldn’t appreciate realness in a rarity They pointed out her flaws organizing themselves juries to give a verdict With more lies and false witnesses arising against her but she was strong even in the centre of the negative aura Though she knew not she had a large army solidly behind her to fight her causey And she ruled through the hate and disapprobation further infuriating her enemies with her victory We love you Bamike, Our Queen © 2018 honey |
