LIESA Poem by Lou RThis is a dark poem. Very dark...I looked up at the sky on the day I heard you call You know I'd learn to fly, but it's just too far to fall And I'm afraid of what I'll find if I look into your eyes - Perhaps it's only me, but all I can see are lies Lies, lies Are all that we have left to share Lies, only lies Are all that's left for us out there Now the Autumn leaves are falling to the bitter ground And yesterday is just an echo - a voice without a sound And I'm still afraid of what I'll see if I look into your eyes - I wonder if it's only me, but all I can see are lies Lies, lies Have built these walls that divide us Lies, only lies Are all that walk beside us.
