TEARS IN AUTUMN

TEARS IN AUTUMN

A Poem by Lou R

I trace the Autumn leaves

   falling to the ground:

And with them my tears -

Falling without any sound

Through the burning leaves of Autumn

   our love is growing cold

The promises we made each other

Are being bought and sold

And as I watch you walk away

   the snow begins to fall

And the past seems like a dream

That never happened at all.

This is absolutely beautiful!!! I felt the sadness and heartbreak and what a wonderful time to pick, autumn when everything changes to go into a bleak cold winter.....looking forward to reading more my friend.
