The Horse That Ran
there was this young horse that was rejected and beaten by his former owner if i had the money to bet on any horse at this race I'd bet on that one for he was tall and black and strong like any future stallion but he was meeked and weakened by the hands of his former owner he had his eyes stabbed out and could no longer see but somehow he still ran straight and fast as ever he had some real rough spots on his body and had nails inside of his hoove he wasn't supposed to make it but the doctor said he was all taken care of one day and all was left was for him to run again and as he did he ran from everybody including his new owner a man who wanted to be his friend. there was this young horse he'd been hurt so much that having him there was enough but if ever i had to bet on a horse it'd be that one, the one that could run like demons were chasing him.
