A Stranger in the Dark

A Stranger in the Dark

A Poem by Holly
"

This is for a dear friend of mine that I just met recently... They continue to inspire me to be better :)

"
It lives in the place
Where my heart used to be
It grows and it spreads
It controls all of me
The darkness still rages
Red's all that I see
I call out for help
But still no one hears me
No one sees me
No one knows me
That's when I met a stranger
Standing alone
Totally lost
So far from home
Somehow they knew this darkness in me
They saw through my mask
They just let me be
So even though
The darkness still grows
And it spreads
And controls
But with you by my side
I'm no longer alone
