Lifes' Game
A Poem by
Holly Nichole
This is the first poem I ever wrote, when I was 10 years old.
In the snow,
In the rain,
I feel the pain,
Of lifes' game.
Happiness or sorrow,
Today or tomorrow.
Life is like a game,
Pick a card,
Just like a game,
This life is hard.

Author's Note
I appreciate any feedback on this. I know it's nothing spectacular, but not bad for a 10 year old. :)
Reviews
I won my first poetry contest, sponsored by the local newspaper, at age eight (the third grade.)
VIETNAM
Vietnam, oh, vietnam;
We will walk to freedom,
Hand in hand;
Our men will fight
To freedom's light
And we pray
Peace will come
To your land.
Actually, I won a school contest in the second grade for
MAY
May it's the day
For happy play;
Drop a glass,
After a bee;
Mow the grass;
That's for me.
Sometimes, our innocent words of childhood say the most! Wonderful write!!

Sure, very good for a 10 year old, couldn't have written it myself at that age, great stuff :)
