I Am a House on Fire

I Am a House on Fire

A Poem by Summer Lynn

I Am a House on Fire

Everything you need is right inside,

If only you dare to face the heat.

I Am a House on Fire

Ash and dust may fill my halls,

But underneath is buried treasure.

I Am a House on Fire

You try to put me out,

My flames grow 10 times stronger.

I Am a House on Fire

There are screams from every window,

Broken glass may cut you deep if you are not careful.

I Am a House on Fire

Watch me burn.

Yes please, let me know if you need a match - chuckling here. Again, nice tone.
