Double back, linesA Poem by lizardbrain
I just don't know where the line is or
where I should be drawing it. I've never been good at straight lines Only curving ones that double back in loophole after loophole until nobody knows what ground they're standing on or where to step next and suddenly it's a minefield of loopholes that made sense in my head but now it's playing out in front of me, in the lives of real people flesh and bone and questioning eyes in front of me, looking at me and asking me, just where do I stand, all I can do is turn around until I know they've left and then I turn back to survey the pattern on the ground of lines I've seen before, none of them straight and they're too knotted to work out, so I walk away too.
