KokorokoA Poem by lizardbrainKokoroko Secret joy liking something simply because it-- made me feel something a solid block on the foundation of-- my elusive identity Scrambling up on that block to shout to the world, "I ENJOY THINGS!" Not out of nostalgia or because-- someone I admire liked it first Simply because I heard it And my heart Reacted to it My head and hips Moved to it My lips smiled effortlessly Joy can happen to me, too. I am not just a sum of everything I have come into contact with and what others see in me There is substance to me yet to be discovered And I am joyful. © 2019 lizardbrainReviews
