Greatest Gift

Greatest Gift

A Poem by Hockeynut

Snowflakes trickle softly to the ground

People rushing here and there

Trying to get the next big thing

As Christmas music plays

In every store they go

Is that what Christmas has become

People worrying about keeping

Up with the neighbors next door

Having the best material things

What happened to peace on earth

Good will to Men being important

Have people truely forgot what

Christmas is all about

Christmas is about celebrating

Our most percious priceless gift

A tiny little baby that was

Born so long ago

Christmas is about God sending

his only son so we could

have everlasting life, the

Greatest gift of all
