Candalabra Castle

Candalabra Castle

A Poem by David

My well wishes to you, following up the river

Candalabra Castle, how I missed you so

Walking the halls at midnight, searching for your room

Light a candle for me. I'll never find it on my own

Candlelight, we will

Dance around the moon

It's alright

Spaceage romancing

In a moment I'll be there

Swimming through the temple, submerged in red

Temper this away. Temper this away

Birds fly away now, they're scared of us

Lieing isn't the answer, not today

In candlelight, we will

Jump off the moon

It's not alright

Spaceage necromancy

In a moment I'll be gone

Bowls full of it

Torch this down

Kill it or keep it, but

don't feel down

You papercut me now, across my throat

With a sword you papercut me. It's my time

Knights ride through the night, searching for you

Call them back out of sympathy. It's not your time

Run back

Please come back

Climb through,

the window

Candalabra Castle, how I missed you so

Walking the halls at midnight, searching for your room

Light a candle for me. I'll never find you on my own

In your room I cry now, I can't believe you're gone

I climb out the window. I can't live now

Candalabra Castle now is both our tomb.
