She's the Sun

She's the Sun

A Poem by David

Noise: the majority of our lives

The joy on the wind

The misery in the end

The river 'round the bend

And folly all the time

It makes all the difference

between good and bad

It follows all the mem'ries

of everything we've had

And every day we wonder

of noises that were sad

And all the times we laughed

at being stupid, mad

What could be better

than musical life?

What could replace

this melodic strife?

It's her

The one with silent smiles

The one who makes no sound

of fear while walking those miles

and cov'ring dangerous ground

She's the music in my car

She's the noiseless sunshine showers

She's the infinite visual choir

Silence

is the star kissing a flower
