Imagine...
Unblemished child
Perfect child
Never harm
Life lived mild
- - -
Inside the walls
The castle walls
He grew to be a man
A prince
Unblemished man
Perfect man
Never any tears
Life was grand
But
He wanted to wander
So wondering he went
Wildly he went just wandering
- - -
Outside the gates
An old man waits
But not as wise as we think
The old man pained
And sat while it rained
His age was a weakened link
What is this
Unblemished man
Perfect Man
What is this
The journey continues
On down the road
This upright prince rode
And stumbled on a man with a sickness
The man coughed up blood
As he layed in the mud
His life was nothing but thickness
What is this
Wondering man
You wandering prince
What is this
Further from home
Gently rain fell
As he drank from the well
He noticed the procession go by
"The man is just lying there
As if he doesn't care
Now they're burning his body, but why?"
What is this
Curious man
Doubting man
What is this
A monk on the hill
There is a holy man
He begs and he prays
He must be happy
His life must be perfection
To attain that feeling
A need arises
- - -
Into the forest
The young prince goes
In search of shade and rest
He sits beneath the tree
That heavenly umbrella
And clears his mind of what's left
Waiting
Watching
Wandering
No more suffering
Why so much sufering
Wandering
Watching
Waiting
No more sickness
Why so much sickness
Waiting
Watching
Wandering
No more death
Why so much death
There must be an answer
An ant crawls past
That's it
Life is so simple
To see
To aspire
To speak
To do
To live
To try
To think
To meditate
Do these things right
- - -
The light begins to fall
Enlightenment for all
- - -
Imagine...
Unblemished God?
Perfect God?
