Impact

Impact

A Poem by David

     It's a sickness

Breathe through the

                    Thickness

          Make sure my blood

               Is on your hands

*     *     *     *     *     *     *     *

I hold your heart

          Like it's nothing

Just a misunderstanding

*     *     *     *     *     *     *     *

     Like a bomb

We all wait for

                    The Impact

               We all wait for

                    The contact

               With the ground

*     *     *     *     *     *     *     *

               Make the twilight

                    Wait for the

                         Hindsight

          Tell me when you

Can see ahead

*     *     *     *     *     *     *     *

     Like a bomb

               From above

Cut the cord

                    Send the love

               Bombs away
