Creepy Kind of Guy

Creepy Kind of Guy

A Poem by David

Contour your body with
mine / Let me lay my
head next to your
side / I wanna lay
with you in a constant
smile / I've got no
     dreams to tell
     you today / You'll
     have to wait 'til
     tomorrow / You
make me sweat in my
sleep / You make me
feel like a creep / So
please don't hurt my
feelings as I fall away
from you / Hold your
body close to mine
-                                -
I'm a straight-legged,
button-up, white t-
shirt kind of person /
But don't let my looks
fool you / I'm a creepy
kind of guy / I lie, I
cheat, I steal and I
die / Everyday I sleep
and think about you /
-                                -
Sit down and think
about our future / It
could be beautiful /
If you would just
answer my calls / Stop
ignoring me / I'm really
easy to get along with if
you would just give me
a chance / I could love
you just as good as he
can / Just answer me,
please, answer me! /
I'm not crazy / They're
just trying to say that
to keep me away from
     you / I'm just a
     dreamer, dreaming
     our lives up in
     my mind / I know
     it sounds crazy
but I think we could
be something really
great / I think we
could rule the world
-                                -
I'm a regular, got
a job, nice house
kind of person / But
don't let that fool
you / I'm a really
strange kind of guy /
I lie, I cheat, I steal
and I die / Everyday
I sleep and I only
think about you
