The Same

The Same

A Poem by David

                              The good that's held
                              up by evil gets shot
                              in the head anyways
                              So, f**k it, everyone
                              dies just the same
                    Flowers rise in the
                    sunshine, flowers die
                    in the nighttime no
                    one lives forever
          Anarchy rises in the
          Nights cold air and
          stares at the world
          like an angry mare
          He stays in the world
          everything is fair
Flowers rise in the
sunshine, flowers die
in the nighttime no
one lives forever
So, f**k it, everyone
dies just the same
I wish I could crawl away
          but everyone dies the same

Raw, honest, the simple truth.
"So, f**k it, everyone dies just the same"

"Nights cold air and
stares at the world
like an angry mare" With these lines, I found the rhyming to be a bit forced, because the part about the angry mare just sort of came out of nowhere.

Brilliant write.
