Movin'

Movin'

A Poem by Harrisen Viator

All the struggle in my life, I try to keep it oral.
Just hustlin' my time, a fight to keep it moral.
I'm musterin' my strength to keep me alive.
There's just somethin' in my brain that I wanna die.
It was bringin' out the pain that made me decide,
that singin' in the rain makes me want to try.
I ain't slangin' the green, just livin' college life.
Workin' like a slave to keep the goals in sight.
Depression comes and goes like a monkey on my back.
Concessions of my soul to keep my life on track.
Recession deals a blow to my credit and debt.
Bout 24 g's owed to the fed no less.
No checks comin' my way, credit bills comin' my way.
Wrecked before you could say, headed to the bank.
Stressed like a bridge holdin' too much weight,
with the ball in hand and a head on straight.
