Floatin'

Floatin'

A Poem by Harrisen Viator

Floatin' in my own bubble,
up in space,
Thinking' of all the ways to
save my place
if I get lost and
am in need of a redo,
but then my bubble pops
and I remember life
ain't no read through.
Every choice you make
has a consequence.
Good or bad, but don't let
it rest on your conscience.
'Cause you can make up for
any wrongs you have done,
you just can't rewrite
the songs you have sung.
Give yourself a better ending
that's the moral of the
message that I am sending.
'Cause no matter how
angry I get
I ain't on the Earth to spread hate,
No matter when my sun sets,
I have got to be great.
