Love is not ours to discriminateA Poem by Harrisen ViatorThis was a poem I wrote after I heard an argument discriminating same-sex marriage.
What must we discriminate,
this love that is not our own? This right that is basic, we reject from others who love. Who are we to say, what is right and wrong? Do you truly know, the most high, who is holy? How could a being, of love, grace and mercy, reject those who possess its qualities? Love is what will prevail, no matter what anyone says.
