Finding love, finding Romeo, finding your heart and following your dreams

An eternity can go pass before anyone decides to learn, to live, to love

people endeavour to find their Romeo

people cry themselves to death before understanding their defeat

but I sleep and wait for thunder

an excuse to plan my war.

 

A life and a death can go pass before someone starts to learn, to live, to love

people try and lock themselves away

people try and sing themselves a lullaby to help calm their heartbeat

but I stare hopelessly into a world

waiting for a love

 

your world can come tumbling down before you learn, you live, you love

people hope for their tears to heal

their hearts to mend

but I walk the empty beaches and I the sand falls carelessly through my hands

every speck of sand has travelled the world

everyone has a story to tell.

 

Everyone has someone to love

and love back

whether you travel the world with a speck of sand or in hope of finding your Romeo

Every heart will mend

every tear will heal

its not a war with love

its a war for love

defeat can get buried

and your heartbeat will calm
