New Girl

Moving away from your lies doesn't mean that they wont follow you to where you are now...

My eyes flushed open as a vicious pounding echoed throughout my room. I pulled my self out of bed and headed towards the door, I picked up a dirty bathrobe off my bedroom floor and headed out my door towards the bathroom. Once the bathroom door was closed my clothes fell loosely to the floor, I stepped into the shower and turned the water on. The hot water on my skin felt like heaven. With every splash of water that fell on my back it felt like one less worry being taken off my shoulders. I started thinking about school but every time my thoughts just kept drifted off to something else.. something more important, something that I needed to figure out.  

Heading towards the front door I picked up my bag and shoved my phone in my pocket. I quickly ran a brush through my dark hair before letting the door slam shut behind me. Leaving my house behind in the distant was a relief. Everyday it felt so good to escape from the house. It didn't feel like home any more, everyday I get the cold shoulder. As soon as I walk in the door I head to my room and lock my self in their, I know that is no way to live but I am just so scared of how my dad thinks of me now.

After about 15 minutes i rounded the corner onto Edward street and met my best friend Taylor Brown. It felt so good to talk to her about everything going on.  

"Emma...... Emma"

"sorry, what?"

"What do you have first"

I answered her quietly before entering the loud and overcrowded school grounds of Riverville State High School. We headed towards the back of the fountain before stopping for a drink at the drinking bubblers. WE ran into our friend Ashley before scurrying towards our first class. Walking past the end of the Grade 9 lockers I met a pale faced boys gaze. my eyes were hooked as were his. His pale grey eyes fascinated me and I had  sudden urge to get to know him. after about a minute or so i ran into my History teacher Mr FItzgerald.

"uhhh.... Miss Daniels, I have a message for you"

He handed me a piece of paper before walking off.

Thanks I whispered to my self.

I read the message out loud to myself before hurrying off to Maths.

THANK YOU

12:40 couldn't come round quick enough but when it did I excused myself from class and started towards the principal's office. Once i reached my destination I knocked on the door.

A loud voice answered me "come in"

I opened the door and leaned up against the wall

"Thank you Emma for meeting with me to day"

"No problem"

"I asked you here today to show around a new student"

A pale faced emerged from the darkness.

"This is Jacie Monty"

 then I dropped my things and ran.
