Not all men are evil

Not all men are evil

A Poem by Herman Martin
"

sharing one's love is not always a good thing

"
I see the pain in your eyes
I hear the anger in your words
He has left you all alone
but he does not share in the grief
He became distant from you
even before he walked out the door

I look at you with sadness
I want to hug you
I want to comfort you
I have a shoulder you can cry on

As you stand there with tears flowing
you hold out your hand
you are not asking for my help
you are pushing me away
I retreat into myself
Holding back on the love I could give

Pushing me away
telling me to leave
you don't want my love

After all
I am a man too
