Death's Friend

Death's Friend

Liked and befriended yet alone

Aimlessly floating among a moss infested ocean

Part wishes for deathly bliss

While the dwindling spark holds onto the beautiful sunset

Outward beauty refuses to be defeated by inward darkness

Id rages in anger

Vicious and obnoxious he screams at the world and all its roadblocks

Id despises the entire cosmos for the physical laws that torment his every desire

He grows and threatens to engulf that which is seen by all

Yin and Yang undulate in unbalanced fervor

Soul mind and body tire from the endless siege

Absolute death claws at the trinity who hide deep within the bowels of the earth

That which was sold cannot be bought

Pureness has become filth

Happiness stinks like garbage piled high in the city streets

The battle which no eyes can see

Causes blood to flow into the sea of nothing

If Id be victorious all life will become hollow and flat

Should he lose death will soon find that which it seeks.
