It is a dark and cold night.

No stars or moon to guide me.

I can stand the bitter cold.

Darkness's embrace I cherish.

A moon that is unseen is hard.

However, no stars I can not bear.

The way they illuminate light
Not in one place
The way they create magic

This is touching... I cannot pinpoint why; maybe it's because I too am one found to be encapsulated by the wonders of the night and its offerings.

I enjoy this... maybe another read or two will pin-point why exactly...

Maybe it's because of the symbolization one represents with stars: greatness, achievement, glory, wonder... yeah, that's it, for me.

Wonder.

Lovely piece even without rhythm or rhyme, just pure contemplation and emotional significance, for the reader to discover, within themselves and within the author.
