Black and White Photo

Black and White Photo

A Poem by H.L. Cerveise

Black and White Photo

Soon the snow will silently fall

It comes with the whispering cold

So white and so pure looking

A dark speck does it hide

So many crystals I can not count

They cover the shivering ground

My eyes see the barren trees

Naked be all their branches

The trees look so black and stark

Upon the ground the snow so white

I smile I see only black and white

There are no grays here

I agree with the below lines.
"The trees look so black and stark
Upon the ground the snow so white
I smile I see only black and white
There are no grays here"
A field filled with snow and untouched. A beautiful place to see. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

I did and you are welcome.
You write on the black and white and I know it's about the polarities of the creation and existence. I actually take pride in recognizing the in-depth meaning of your writings. I love the way how you described the beauty of a snowy day in philosophical terms.
