The Scents of Lightness
The moonlight glistens off the rippling waters like thousands of stars. I float in the cold clear water that seeks to embrace me for eternity. My nose smells sweet clean waters of life that abounds. I inhale her never-ending essence that is deeper than I can know. Breathing without thought I relish, and I plunge deeper. The wind stirs up raging waves in her inky waters. I find power in the rage, and it burns deeply, longingly into my heart. My tongue speaks out softly with blessings at her divine scents. I lift her up with human strength as she flows around me. Sinking again beneath her embrace my nose drinks deeply. The stream of her unseen falls pours over my beating heart. I fall gratefully to my knees beneath her renewing life-giving glow. My nostril's breath in her six hundred plus scents and I am lost in her delights. I smell with renewed strength my Aquarius as she enters into my lungs. Slowly, I float back to shore as reality tries to lower my estate upon the banks. The water flows through my fingers as I grasp trying to contain her. I stand knee-deep in her still waters; sweetness caresses me. My lungs inhale her deeply as the sun rises upon the misty still waters. I curl upon myself and submerge beneath and in her not wanting it to end. Sleep below her surface is life and brings a renewed spirit and stronger heart. © 2016 H.L. Cerveise |
